Remote desktop
Connect to a device from your browser, with nothing to install
Open the remote desktop, a terminal or the file manager in a browser tab. Click Remote connect on a ticket and you are on the machine.
What you get
Remote desktop in detail
No technician install
Technicians work entirely in the browser. There is no viewer to download, update or license on each technician's computer.
One click from the ticket
Remote connect sits in the ticket side panel, the device page and the command palette. A short lived access token is created for each session.
Desktop, terminal and files
Take control of the screen, open a shell, or move files, from the same session window.
Consent when you want it
Turn on an end user consent prompt so people approve a session before a technician connects.
Every session recorded
Technician, device, start, end and duration are written to the ticket timeline and the audit trail.
Runs on your server
The remote engine is self-hosted next to ResolveX Pro, so session traffic does not pass through a third party relay.
Questions
Frequently asked
Does the end user need to install anything?
The remote agent is installed on the device by a ResolveX Pro job. After that, no action is needed from the user.
Can I record the session video?
Session logging covers who connected and for how long. Video recording is not part of the current release.
What about a fallback?
RustDesk can be used as an optional fallback for devices where you prefer it.
