OS imaging and deployment

Build a new PC without touching the keyboard twice

Boot a blank machine from the network or a USB drive, apply your image and settings, and watch it join ResolveX Pro with its software already on the way.

What you get

OS imaging and deployment in detail

1

Network boot from your site

The ResolveX Pro gateway on your network serves PXE boot without changing your existing DHCP server. Plug in a new PC, boot it from the network and choose a task.

2

USB media when you need it

Create bootable USB media for sites or machines that cannot reach the gateway.

3

Image library

Keep a stock Windows ISO or capture an image from a reference machine. Images are stored and versioned in one library.

4

Deployment templates

Set the disk layout, computer naming pattern, time zone, local administrator and domain join. Add driver sets by model so each device gets the right drivers.

5

Ubuntu autoinstall

Deploy Ubuntu with an autoinstall configuration from the same templates and the same task list.

6

Live progress and automatic enrolment

Follow each task step by step. When it finishes, the new PC enrols itself in ResolveX Pro and receives its software automatically.

Questions

Frequently asked

Do I need to change my DHCP server?

No. The gateway handles network boot alongside your current DHCP server, so there is nothing to reconfigure on your router or domain controller.

Is a gateway required on each site?

Network boot needs a gateway on the same network as the machines being built. USB media works anywhere.

Which starting point includes it?

OS imaging and deployment is part of the Enterprise starting point, and can be added to other plans. Request a quote for your endpoint count.
